Cook Out

I love cookout, the cookout trays are an excellent price and you get plenty of food. I didn't give the 5th star mainly because there have been a few times that my wrap wasn't very fresh. But 99% of the time this place is excellent!

Cookout is a great place to go for such a variety of food. Great taste, great atmosphere. Great place to take your family. Young and old. Two thumbs up.

Edit March 9,2020Adding photos. Is this some kind of joke? Do.you give us a whole onion on our burgers now? That is what you served my daughter tonight. Have a look . I'll also upload the video. Hot fresh and can’t beat the prices at cookout! Everything was really good and the drive through window was fast and workers were very courteous to us! Will go back again.

The young man drive-through cashier around 7:40 PM actively called my Dad an "old man" under his breath. I guess he was trying to be funny. Not funny, just mean. Hire better workers. Extremely disrespectful and not at all professional.

That place is so nasty I don’t think a dog would eat it but maybe they can fix it soon I hope if not I don’t think they will make it

Great burgers and fries, Awesome milkshakes, but styrofoam boxes and plastic bags! I am no tree hugger but I do want to be a little bit responsible for the next generation. Ever hear of paper? It's recyclable, renewable, and biodegradable!

The food was good as usual, but when my debit card didn't read the very first time it was swiped I was told "my credit card was expired and they couldn't take it". After explaining to her the expiration date of 12/19 was still 4 months away and getting a look like I was stupid she swiped it again and tada approved. So in short food is good staff might be morons.

It really is a hit or miss with this place .. just can't seem to get a consistency of good orders from here . Really didn't appreciate the overload onions or a top to a onion .. and watching a younger guy touch and handle food with no gloves on and then make comments while everyone else was trying to be professional .. I really like this place but it's getting hard to want to go back each time after mishaps that keep acurring

My spot for late night food. Amazing shakes and food is on point too. Inexpensive and always fast.

Food is always cooked by order it’s fresh and tasty. You don’t have to worry about your food being old and nasty.

Reliably good food, quick service, pleasant staff. My favorite is the BBQ platter. The fresh watermelon shake is surprisingly good. Slaw is good, onion rings OK, hot dogs NO.

I low this place so much. I look forward to coming to eat here when we come up to visit my in laws every year or so. Great prices and food, really great atmosphere. First place we eat when we get in town!

Good food. Customer service is good too. Cheap. Get a entree, 2 sides and a drink for approximately $5.90. Definitely recommend CookOut

The food here used to be amazing however in the last couple of weeks the quality has gone way down. Patties are much smaller than they used to be, a lot of time it doesn't even fill the bun. However the service is always great very nice people working there.

Good food but I wish they would come out with a original crispy chicken sandwich like the spicy chicken sandwich not everyone likes grilled chicken sandwiches. That's what I got for lunch after I ordered a original crispy chicken sandwich I ate it even though I don't care for grilled chicken.

Food was excellent. I love that they have such a wide selection of items on their menu. Seems their hush puppies are great paired with anything.

Relatively short wait, fantastic amount of choices and combos, actually has cheerwine (unlike most restaurants now), and the food tastes as good as it looks! Totally recommend it.

One great hot dog, grilled to perfection and their chili is great. They have good onion rings and the cheese bites are great.

Although the service is excellent and they're very clean, the food was not that great and then milkshake wasn't too good either. Not worth my time or money won't be going back. Huge disappointment considering the other stores not in the state are pretty good

One of our favorite places to eat! And for four of us it's cheaper than McDonald's! I personally love that they are not afraid to their support for God and America!!

A cheeseburger is not a corner l chicken sandwich. Third time my order has been messed up at this location. I'll stick to the one in Johnson City where my order has always been perfect.

Great food at a great price!

Unbeatable prices, delicious food, and great staff. The food if out of this world. Easy access to the drive thru and rapid service. One needs to get food there as often as you get a chance.

Cookout is awesome. The food is good and the people are friendly. One of my favorites.

Went to the kingsport cook out tonight 5/18/20 got the 2 dog tray I ask for Cole slaw as my two sides. When I got home opened my tray only to find they gave me chili instead of slaw I tasted the chili it was so nasty had a burnt taste to it guess it must have been sitting out for a long time. I tried to call about the problem and got no answer I even called 3 times so let's see they don't know the difference between slaw & chili nor do they know how to answer the phone.I'm so tired of every time I get food from this place it's messed up or I get half of what I order

Good food at good prices

I have yet to get the right order. I have given up. I mean if you're not a picky eater it's a gamble you could get more or less then what ur order was but I assure you it will not be what you ordered.

It is soooooo good there r so many shake flavors and the food is awesome

Good food and service for a great price. We had a large group that had just left the funeral home. None of us had eaten in hours, and we were starving. The food tasted good, was served hot, and the service was very pleasant. For a large amount of food for a good price, Cook Out is hard to beat. Highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best restaurants ever in my opinion very good price points awesome Foods the best good service nice people nice place and and hot food if you get a chance to try one go to it asap

Me and my wife went here to eat went through the drive-thru to order and when we got the food either order was right. It was the right sandwiches but the BBQ sandwiches wasn't the way we asked for (meaning what we wanted on them). We didn't have any napkins in the bag to use after we got done eating. But the BBQ was good and the sides was right with them

Ordered a cheddar style burger. Did not expect to get an entire onion. Then they handed us a sprite and when we said no we ordered a coke. One of the people started cussing about it and the lady at the window told him to stop cussing. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Fast service and great food, cheap price. Also very clean and a lot of variety. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Cookout is my favorite place for burgers hands down! They taste like they just came off a charcoal grill! Try them steak style for an extra treat! Their shakes are amazing also with so many to choose from you'll have a hard time choosing! I'll make it easy try the Heath toffee or the Snickers shake if you like candy bars or if your not a candy bar person try the banana shake it made from real bananas and taste sooo good!

Food and service is great. But due to my age, it would be better if the inside seating was softer (cushioned).
